Towards a Mindful Midwinter

Midwinter, or Winter Solstice, will be the shortest day and a turning point, where we are reminded that the light will return.

Like every Wednesday evening, I will teach Mindful Yoga and Meditation online on the 20th of December, but with two differences to the normal lesson: it will be in English, and the focus will be on the celebration of the Winter Solstice; the returning of the light at the 21st.


It will be a meditation in combination with a mild form of yoga, suitable for everybody, even when you have physical limitations, with a focus on being present in the now, with compassion. We will combine meditation, postures, movement and breathing.

We will start together online, after which you can close your camera and microphone, and at the end you can open your camera again, and maybe share some experience. A small ceremony with lighting a candle will be part of this event. Our journey Towards a Mindful Midwinter will start 19:30 (CET) and will end latest at 21:00.

Mindful Yoga and the 7 Chakra's

Next few weeks we will focus on each chakra, one every week.

Mindful Moment & Peace Meditation

As of now I will offer two new morning events every week, besides the (Dutch spoken) Mindful Yoga every Tuesday Mindful Yoga):

Mindful Moment - Monday 8:30 - 9:00 AM (CET)

What is better than to start your week with a Mindful Moment? This meditation is for anyone who needs a meditative moment, and doesn't want to do it alone. It doesn't matter if you have experience with mindfulness or meditation, because everyone experiences this moment as unique, right where you are. All it needs is your attention. Every week I will offer a little different meditation in English (unless there are only Dutch participants, then it will be in Dutch).


Peace Meditation - Friday 8:30 - 9:00 AM (CET)

In these times of crisis and turmoil, we need people that are able to focus on peace. And peace starts from within. This meditation is inspired by the teachings of Sri Amma Bhagavan of the Golden Age Movement in India (https://golden-age-europe.org/), where I myself follow their program online. These teachings are focussed on awareness and aimed to enjoy an inner state of causeless love and joy, where you feel connected to all living creatures and nature. I will combine my knowledge of yoga, meditation and these teachings in the weekly meditations. No experience with meditation is needed to take part.



How does it work?

When you apply, I will add you to the WhatsApp or Telegram group (or email) for further information. The meditations are €5,- (or 38 DKK) each time.*
You can also pay per month, then you pay for 4x (regardless of whether it is 4 or 5x that month).

After payment you will receive a login code for a 'Zoom' meeting. Everyone logs in on time from home, and you can turn off your sound and image when we start. You can participate from your own quiet, comfortable place on a chair, meditation cushion or bench (and yoga mat). At the end you can switch on image and sound again to exchange how it was.

*Payment no later than Sunday 6:00 PM for the Mindful Moment and Thursday 6:00 PM for the Peace Meditation. After payment (= registration) refund is no longer possible. I can make a recording of the lesson if you are unable to participate. I only do this on request.
